Armchair travel takes residents on a cultural journey to China filled with stories and treasures

Residents at Middleton Hall embarked on another exciting armchair travel experience, this time journeying to the vibrant culture of China—all without leaving their seats!

A special highlight of the afternoon was a Health & Wellbeing Centre member who had lived in China for part of her life. She not only brought in authentic Chinese treasures, such as elegant silk robes, intricate handmade dolls, and fragrant traditional Chinese tea, but also shared fascinating stories about her time there.

Residents were captivated by her experiences and the cultural delights on display, while enjoying sweet treats like fortune cookies. The event brought joy, curiosity, and a sense of adventure to all in attendance, proving once again that the world is just a chair away at Middleton Hall!
