Care Home Awards finalists 2023

Middleton Hall Retirement Village‘s in-house training and development programmes were recognised as being amongst the best in the sector at this year’s prestigious Care Home Awards.

Middleton Hall’s immersive training scheme involving people living with dementia to promote increased awareness of the condition across the whole organisation, along with a new partnership with a professional wellbeing provider designed to support teams, led to the company being chosen as one of the 2023 finalists.

Representatives from the Middleton Hall Retirement Village care services and training department attended the awards ceremony in London which provide an annual benchmark of excellence and innovation for care home management, operations and delivery.

Head of Care and Quality, Debby Lamont, said: “We were really proud to have been chosen as finalists for an award, especially as we are an independent provider. We are so passionate about training and developing our team and it was lovely to be acknowledged for this.”

Audra Hunt, Middleton Hall Retirement Village’s Training Manager added: “To be nominated as finalist is an accolade in itself and confirms for us that we are in the top companies in our sector for training and development, particularly around dementia care and wellbeing.”
