Christmas Fair a festive triumph as Middleton Hall welcomes visitors of all ages

Middleton Hall Retirement Village was filled with festive cheer as the annual Christmas Fair delighted visitors of all ages. The event brought together local businesses, residents, co-owners and families for a day of merriment while also raising funds for charity.

The fair featured a selection of local stallholders showcasing handmade crafts, seasonal gifts, and artisan treats. Food and drink stalls offered mulled wine, mince pies, and other festive delicacies.

One of the highlights of the day was Santa’s Grotto, where children shared their Christmas wishes and received small gifts from Santa himself. Meanwhile, adults tried their luck at the popular tombola, with all proceeds going to local charity, St Teresa’s Hospice in Darlington, which is dedicated to offering palliative and end of life care and support to people with life-limiting illness, and to their families or carers.

Additionally, the Guide Dogs charity raised an impressive £201.54 during the event.
