Enjoy retirement village life as a care resident at Middleton Hall

What are the advantages of living in a care home that is part of a retirement village?

As the only retirement village in the area, care residents in our award-winning retirement village enjoy a greater range of facilities and amenities than are available in a traditional care home.

Residents are supported by the friendly Middleton Hall team

Each of the village’s three care services – offering residential care in Middleton Gardens, higher dependency care in Middleton Court and dementia care in Middleton Oaks – provide large ensuite accommodation and residents are supported with personalised and professional care by wonderful, friendly teams, with a high ratio of carers to residents.

Supported independent living is also available in the spacious Middleton Grove retirement apartments.

Set in the peaceful surroundings of a glorious 45-acre estate, care residents have accessible woodland and lakeside walks and an array of glorious gardens right on their doorstep. The grounds also include resident allotments and a ceramic garden, chicken run, bird hide and a wildlife wetland area to visit.

Adjacent to the main building within easy access of the care services is Middleton Hall’s exclusive Health and Wellbeing Centre. Its fully equipped gym and fitness studio, pool, jacuzzi and personal therapy rooms, offering hairdressing, beauty therapy, chiropody and reiki sessions, are available to all care residents with a team of personal trainers on hand to advise and support.

Residents and their families also enjoy the village’s popular Orangery café which is open daily, with twice monthly dining evenings taking place in the Middleton Hall Restaurant.

A programme of regular activities and events are organised for residents and families alike to enjoy. From creative classes in the village’s art studio, visiting singers and film nights, to indoor sports, such as carpet bowls, and outdoor sports making use of the boules and bowls pitches and golf putting beside the village’s sports pavilion, there is always something going on to get involved with.

Commenting on the experience of living in Middleton Hall’s care services, one family member said that there was “outstanding care given to my father in Middleton Court. A great team who have made him feel welcome and part of the community. Stunning grounds have given him a beautiful view every day from his window where he loves to watch the wildlife.”
