Pancake Day celebrations

This year’s Shrove Tuesday celebrations included pancake flipping competitions, a pancake trivia quiz and helpings of freshly made pancakes with a range of tempting toppings.

Residents across Middleton Hall took part in a variety of pancake related activities including pancake flipping competitions in the care services organised by Healthy Living Team, with residents honing their skills with a beanbag first, as well as a specially-themed quiz focused on pancake trivia.

The Kitchen Team created fresh pancakes for each of the care services, with plenty of toppings to choose from including fresh fruits and chocolate sauce.

Independent residents were able to enjoy a menu featuring a variety of daily special pancakes in The Orangery on Shove Tuesday with options including Apple and Cinnamon and Pineapple with Coconut. This proved to be so popular it had to be extended into Wednesday with some residents returning for second helpings.
