Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

The Healthy Living team are currently running a Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for Residents and Spa Members at Middleton Spa. This involves using our on-site facilities to run, walk, swim or cycle 38 Kilometres, the combined distance of the three peaks challenge.

Jerome, one of the team, said “Setting a goal gives you something to work towards, giving you a routine which boosts your mental and physical wellbeing. If you are taking part with other people it also becomes an enjoyable social activity.”

This is the first of many activities planned at Middleton Spa with the focus of helping all Spa users to lead a healthy and active life in retirement. Speak to the Healthy Living team if you’d like to get involved.

The Spa runs an Aqua Aerobics class every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 3:00 and 3:30 which is open to independent residents and members. You can book your slot by getting in touch with the Healthy Living team.
