125th anniversary: Snapshot of current life at Middleton Hall sealed in time capsule

In preparation for the 125th anniversary celebrations residents and Co-owners collated a number of artefacts linked to the day-to-day life of Middleton Hall Retirement Village and its residents in 2025.

The collection of insights into the current chapter of the Hall’s evolving history was then placed in a time capsule to be unearthed again in 125 years’ time in 2050.

As part of the 125th anniversary celebrations, residents from the village’s care services and independent retirement properties and Co-owners gathered to mark the sealing of the capsule which was then buried in a spot near Reception marked with a special plaque.
