Fantastic Co-owner runs London Marathon

What started as a healthy living regime six years ago has evolved into our fantastic Co-owner Nichola running the London marathon at the beginning of this month.

On Sunday 2nd October Nichola took part in the London Marathon which had been her dream to take part in since she competed in the Manchester marathon in 2019. She was lucky enough to get a ballot place and her husband got their running club ballot place, so it was wonderful for them to be able to run it together.

They decided to run it for Vision 25, a charity for young adults with disabilities. Their daughter attends and it is a great place that enables independence and a sense of belonging. So far, they have received £1,100 in donations and they feel so humbled by people’s generosity. The marathon was an amazing experience that they say will stay with them forever. She has been running for 6 years when she embarked on a healthy living regime and has loved running ever since.
