Resident knitters warm hearts and hands with donations to Salvation Army

Residents of Middleton Hall Retirement Village recently gathered to celebrate a heartfelt initiative by their Knit and Natter group, who handcrafted a cosy selection of scarves, hats, and gloves for those in need. Over several months, the dedicated knitters created an array of colourful winter essentials to donate to the Salvation Army, hoping to spread warmth to vulnerable community members this winter.

In a touching handover ceremony held at the village, the Salvation Army not only received the handmade items but also brought along a choir, filling the Restaurant with musical cheer. The music and warmth of the event brought residents and Salvation Army members together, celebrating the spirit of kindness and community.
