Middleton Hall Becomes a Pioneer in the Care Workforce Pathway for Social Care Careers

Middleton Hall is proud to announce its selection as one of the 90 pioneering organisations now adopting the Care Workforce Pathway, a first-of-its-kind, universal framework for adult social care careers.

Starting this October, we will formally implement the pathway to support our Co‑owners’ development and career progression, guided by clear standards of knowledge, skills, values and behaviours essential to delivering high-quality, personalised support. This alignment not only helps us address workforce challenges but also positions us as a forward‑thinking employer involved in national sector innovation.

As part of the national support programme, Middleton Hall joins other early adopters in co‑producing best practice across the adult social care sector. We’ll be accountable, visible and actively contributing to shaping the future of care.

One of the early adopter organisations has seen positive results by embedding the Care Workforce Pathway within their culture, aligning roles with national standards and engaging with staff in career development discussions.

More details will follow as we launch our internal implementation and invite Co‑owners to help shape this journey.

We’re kicking things off with an awareness event this August in partnership with Vision Training to introduce the pathway to our local community – stay tuned as Middleton Hall embarks on this exciting transformation in adult social care.
