Retired Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Braithwaite hosted a talk to Middleton Hall residents about the infamous John Darwin (Canoe Man) case. The gripping talk was enjoyed by everyone who attended as Mark gave accounts of his time working as an advisor on the case

The John Darwin disappearance case involved the faked death of the British former teacher and prison officer. Darwin turned up alive in December 2007, five and a half years after he was believed to have died in a canoeing accident.
