Daily walk inspires Middleton Hall’s Christmas card design

The stunning image on Middleton Hall Retirement Village’s Christmas card this year, of Middleton Hall’s beautiful Victorian entrance, was taken by our very own Accounts Assistant Sharon.

Taken during one of Sharon’s daily walks around the Middleton Hall grounds, the image of the door shows off the wonderful garlands and wreath created by Estates Manager Bryan and Activities Co-ordinator Julie as part of this year’s festive decorations.

“It’s such a beautiful and inspiring place to work,” said Sharon, who has worked at Middleton Hall for the past five years and often takes photos on the walk she builds into her work day to achieve her daily 10k step goal.

“My loop takes in the chicken coop, the woodland and the butterfly bed near the Waterside bungalows. Residents there recognise me now and give me a friendly wave and say hello.”

Sharon is looking forward to stepping into 2024 and we are looking forward to seeing more of her photos of the grounds as the year progresses!
