Middleton Hall Retirement Village Hosts Flavourful Cooking Demo!

Middleton Hall Retirement Village recently hosted a culinary display as Head Chef Ian wowed attendees with an interactive cookery demonstration, bringing together independent residents and eager students from Bishop Auckland College. Everyone observed Ian’s skills in cooking delectable stir fry and paella dishes.

For many residents the event provided a delightful opportunity to engage in an activity that both entertained and inspired. Meanwhile, for the students of Bishop Auckland College, i offered valuable real-world insights into the intricacies of cooking.

As the demonstration concluded, appetites were satisfied and minds were filled with newfound culinary knowledge. The event not only exemplified Middleton Hall Retirement Village’s commitment to providing enriching experiences for its residents but also highlighted the power of intergenerational learning.
