The award-winning Middleton Hall Retirement Village has launched a programme of open house events so people can find out more about life in its friendly community.

Monthly events featuring a guest speaker and a chance to talk to current residents about the lifestyle the village offers have been scheduled throughout 2022. Optional tours of Middleton Hall’s independent retirement properties and amenities will also be available.

The first open event is on Thursday 26th May from 2pm to 6pm. A cookery demonstration from Middleton Hall Retirement Village’s Head Chef Ian De Hoedt, featuring dishes from the village’s very popular Sri Lankan curry evenings, will take place from between 2pm and 3pm.

Set in forty-five acres of stunning grounds just outside Middleton St George, near Darlington, Middleton Hall Retirement Village’s integrated retirement community offers access to a wide range of exclusive facilities designed to help residents to live their lives to the full. The onsite amenities include The Orangery, a bistro and shop at the heart of the village, and Middleton Spa pool, gym, fitness studio and therapy rooms. There is also a resident-run library and art studio with its own kiln.

The village’s retirement properties are perfect for those looking to enjoy living independently as part of a vibrant community and include the Waterside development of high specification, spacious energy efficient bungalows and the elegant Middleton Woods apartments set around an attractive landscaped courtyard.
