Sri Lankan Buffet Night success

The Sri Lankan Buffet Night held in March for our independent residents was a huge success. A firm favourite in the Middleton Hall Retirement Village event calendar, it was personally overseen by Head Chef Ian DeHoedt who originally hails from Sri Lanka and has worked at Middleton Hall Retirement Village for the past 9 years.

The Buffet Night Menu

The event sold out in just a few days with Ian commeting: “The kitchen team were proud and pleased to do this event night as a Sri Lankan night for the residents who all thoroughly enjoyed the event.”

David, an independent resident from The Waterside, attended the event and said: “It is great to see people coming together to enjoy an evening in The Orangery. It was a delicious meal that was beautifully prepared and presented. All credit must go to the kitchen and front of house teams for putting on an incredible evening.”

The team are already planning more themed nights throughout 2022. A Tapas Evening is scheduled for Wednesday 13th April which independent residents can now reserve a table for in The Orangery.
