Hawaiian-themed summer celebration in Middleton Gardens

The Hawaiian theme for the summer party season was much in evidence at the Middleton Gardens event. Preparations were in full flow ahead of the event as residents crafted colourful headdresses in a session led by Living Well Activities Coordinator Kath.

“We called our group maka maka makai which means good friends,” said Kath.

The handmade headdresses made an appearance alongside a range of wonderfully colourful outfits at the party itself. Held in the restaurant it was an unforgettable afternoon featuring a lot of laughter!
