Deck the Hall! There’s no Christmas without the wreath🌲🎀

Every front door deserves a good wreath during Christmas and is essential to getting in the festive spirit!

It is important that Christmas is celebrated by residents in traditional ways. At Middleton Hall Retirement Village we provide residents with the opportunity to be a part of the festivities by setting up fun activities where their creations can then be enjoyed by all, and this was the case at the recent wreath-making workshop. Residents and their families made traditional wreaths, led by Kath & Julie, our activities coordinators.

There were a wide range of materials available, gathered by our estates team from the Hall’s 45 acres of garden and woodland.

Independent residents started the day of workshops and the results were well worth the time and patience put into them.

Care residents and their families then took to an afternoon of wreath-making, it was great to see so many attend and see so many smiling faces!

The wreaths will now add a festive feel to doorways and corridors across Middleton Hall as Christmas celebrations are now in full swing.
