Ceramic Garden launch

The Ceramic Garden was officially opened at an special event attended by an invited audience.

The opening ceremony commenced with words from Les Simpson, the creator of the Ceramic Garden and Middleton Hall’s resident Ceramic art tutor, who spoke of the history that led to creation of the garden. Middleton Hall’s managing director Suzanne then thanked the group and those involved, for transforming what would have been abandoned land, into something wonderful for all to enjoy.

Two members of the ceramic group then cut the ribbon, marking the official inauguration of the Ceramic Garden. Guests, including residents, Co-owners, family and friends and prospective residents, eagerly awaited their chance to explore the artistic experience.

Everyone then gathered in The Orangery with refreshments and enjoyed a display of other ceramics created by the group.

Throughout the event, visitors expressed their delight, praising the Ceramic Garden for its captivating fusion of art and nature. Residents also expressed their excitement over having such a unique space within their community.

All are welcome to visit the garden. Any external visitors should please register at the Middleton Hall Reception (DL2 1HA), where they will be given directions to its location.
