Middleton Hall Retirement Village has achieved a remarkable double win at the 2024 Care Home Awards, taking home two prestigious accolades.
The Estates Team was honoured with the ‘Best Outdoor Space’ award, whilst the Housekeeping Team secured the title of ‘Best Housekeeping Team’. These awards provide an annual benchmark of excellence and innovation for care home management, operations and delivery.
The Best Outdoor Space award highlights Middleton Hall’s dedication to creating and maintaining beautiful, accessible and engaging outdoor environments which were recognised for enhancing the quality of life for residents.

I am immensely proud of our achievements as an Estates Team, and we are dedicated to continuing our efforts to enhance our gardens. Our goal is to create a vibrant, sustainable, and accessible environment that all our residents can enjoy.”
The Housekeeping Team’s excellence was recognised within the Best Facilities Management, Maintenance or Housekeeping Team category. This accolade celebrates the team’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for residents. Their attention to detail, efficiency and friendly service have certainly set a benchmark for excellence, making them deserving recipients of the award.
Nicola, Housekeeping Supervisor added “Me and the team are over the moon to get the award! We are all really proud of each other, being nominated was an award in itself, to win has just blown us out of the water. We are grateful for the chance to share what we do for the residents and be recognised and awarded for that is incredible.”
