Middleton Hall Retirement Village is excited to announce Leonardo as the new Restaurant Manager, bringing his extensive hospitality experience to The Orangery and Restaurant. Leonardo’s career includes roles at prestigious venues such as Wynyard Hall and Rockcliffe Hall, and he joins Middleton Hall with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Originally from Colombia, Leonardo moved to the UK for love and has been here for 25 years. In his new role, he oversees day-to-day restaurant operations and special events, focusing on creating memorable experiences for residents and guests alike.

Leonardo says he was drawn to Middleton Hall for its balance between work and family life. “It doesn’t feel like a retirement village, it feels like a hotel. People are friendly and approachable, and the staff are especially welcoming. I drive into work smiling and happy!”

Since joining, he has found Middleton Hall to be a supportive environment that allows him to pursue his love of hospitality while spending quality time with his family. He enjoys mentoring his team, encouraging independent thinking, valuing diverse opinions, and approaching challenges with positivity.

A seafood enthusiast, Leonardo’s signature dish is mixed seafood pasta with garlic, white onion, and white wine. He also enjoys exploring local seafood wherever his travels take him.

Middleton Hall invites residents, guests, and the community to join in welcoming Leonardo to the team.
