Christmas magic at the Middleton Hall Christmas fair

Everybody was glad to see the return of the Middleton Hall Christmas Fair- the first in three years and the day didn’t disappoint- there was no better way to launch the festive season!

Over twenty independent stallholders brought a selection of seasonal goodies to display, from festive cakes, crafts to Christmas decorations and gifts for furry friends, there was something for everyone to browse.

Middleton Hall’s tombola and raffle stall went down a storm, over £560 was raised for Zoe’s Place hospice in Middlesbrough. Zoe’s place is the only specific baby hospice in the UK, with centres in Coventry, Liverpool and Middlesbrough. The Middlesbrough hospice alone costs more than one million pounds to run each year, in order to provide its services for free, to the families who access it. The money raised will go towards a great cause and will be much appreciated by all.

We were also delighted that Santa took time out of his busy schedule to drop in, he made himself at home in his specially built grotto, which came to life thanks to our creative team. His appearance was a big hit with visitors both young and old and it was heart-warming seeing the smiles he put on people’s faces.

Thank you to everyone who made the day a success, we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
